What the experts say:

This game will engage your child in a process of creative problem solving, engages both hemispheres of your child’s developing brain, a process believed to improve self-awareness. Mindo’s emphasis on spatial reasoning and decision-making skills may boost areas of the brain also responsible for planning, inhibition, attention, motivation, abstract thinking, and emotional regulation. The game features varied levels of difficulty, offering your child opportunities to practice both self-soothing and the delight of completing a challenging task, which together may enhance your child’s tolerance for stress.

We love many of the Blue Orange games and one great revelation has been that my 4,5 yrs loves to play Mindo by herself. It gives her a new sense of independence and is a great peaceful activity.

Mindo is a great logic game.

As a teacher, I like it because it allows the students to work on logic, spatial awareness, visual perception, concentration, patience and autonomy. I use it in the morning during the welcoming time. It’s a one player game but the children like to find solution all together. They interact, talk about different solutions. My students also play with this game when they done with their work. It’s a good quiet game which doesn’t need a lot of space.

As a mum, I like the 4 levels of difficulties, because all the family can have a turn ! The perfect game to put in your handbag and give to your child when you have to wait at the restaurant … Even if it’s a solo game, my twins found a way to play together: They both have one game, the winner is the one who finish the challenge the fastest.

Thanks to my French speech and language pathologist background, I always look at reasoning skills as it is very much linked to language abilities. With MINDO games, kids have to explore different strategies, change their first intuition to an even better combination that will fulfill all the challenges of the puzzle. This allows children to develop better anticipations and flexibilities which are two very important brain abilities. Also, this game is a good way to learn spatial orientation and manipulation which are also skills needed to develop the language.

I highly recommend this game for its benefits in terms of language development and fun!
